Woke up a new woman!!

HI Girls!!
I feel like I lost a day of my life, lol!! Yesterday early in the morning (3am’ish) I woke up ILL~ with tummy flu and a fever! All day I was a zombie and drank an entire bottle of PEPTO~ BUT last night I slept all night uninterrupted and woke up a NEW WOMAN!!! I feel almost 100%~ a little bit if my tummy ache is still present, but that’s no biggie cuz the rest of me feels great!!!

I was so sad yesterday that I had to miss my run …but I new it wasn’t a smart idea– so the even day running streak ends for this month. :( I’ll start a new streak though either today or tomorrow! It all depends on if I decide to lift legs today or tomorrow :)

My dream today revolves around my Spirit~ I dream of walking in the fruit of the Spririt at all times (even during PMS, lol).. Love, JOY, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Gentleness and Self-Control. I seem to struggle most at staying KIND, Patient and Gentle with those I LOVE most. I suppose with family I expect so much of them and I live so close with them that I can get a little mean sometimes. I really don’t like that about myself… AND I know I can improve~ so my dream is to be an angel at all times.

HOLY hormone HUMP day!

Well girls…It was one of those days for me today~ High Hormones= tired, slow, stiff, unfocused and a bit reclusive, lol!…but I pushed through by remembering, “It’s just my hormones” and I actually had a rather good day despite!

I got a ton done and had a huge weight lifted off my shoulders when Chris Bray (my web guy) got the RR up and running again.

My DREAM is to have a dream website…one that has all the bells and whistles that I desire, one that never ever goes down and one that is as wonderful as the RR and stays wonderful forever!!! I love the atmosphere here– you have created a dreamland… But I know we need it to be updated, more reliable, more user friendly and more dependable for it to house all the women in the world!!!

I’ve already gotten this week’s mini-challenge done~ I worked out LEGS with DH on MONDAY…I actually squated 135×6 for 2 sets…the first time since about FEB that I’ve squatted that heavy. And that same day I worked on some video practice doing the beginner buffing workout~ that’s hard work!

Then yesterday~ I lifted back and RAN!! I also finished with 2 sets of walking lunges~then practiced some more video taping…this time some lower body boosting and some upper body buffing– no wonder I am sore head to to today!

So… today is a much needed day off.
Eats have been decent, working on getting in my protein and greens~ My weight was at 126 on Mon, 126 on Tues and today 127. Very good for me at this time of the month~

GREAT weekend!!

HI girls!!
I had a GREAT weekend~ it was Gunner’s b-day on Saturday!! and GUESS what?? I got a new VAN!! YEAH!! so my dream came true~
It is a 2005 Nissan Quest…that’s loaded with leather, automatic everything, a dvd player and low miles to boot. We are soooo excited!!! I’ll post pics soon.

I also had some good workouts- Saturday I lifted chest, tri’s and bi’s in my garage and then yesterday I had a good 21 min run on the treddy. My even day running streak is still going STRONG!

here is a recap of last week’s workouts:
M-super tiny chest workout and ran on treddy
T-lift legs and stairmill
W-ran on treddy
Th-off
F-ran outside with 4 sprints
S-lift chest tri’s/bi’s
Sun- run on treddy 21min=3 miles, abs and stretching at home

This week I plan to lift more often and at least couple of those times with my DH!! and keep up with my even day runs:
M- legs
T- run outside if possible
W- back, sh, bi
T- chest tri’s, run
F- legs
Sa-run
Su-?

Alaska?

Alaska?…do any of you dream of living in Alaska?  I do…but only during the warmer months, lol!   I think it would be so beautiful and so quiet to have a vacation home/hunting cabin up there.  And actually some parts aren’t even as cold as where I lived in MN during my HS and College years, so the winter might not be tooooooo bad, lol!   I see Alaska as one of the last “untamed” regions of the USA.  It is wild and full of WILD animals, wild people who just want to be FREE and wild landscapes that are just waiting for man to discover!  

Yesterday, the kids started VBS in the morning for this week…it is so GREAT- they LOVE it and I love it too!  So I got a ton done for work yesterday and got to the gym around four for my workout:
warm up r-bike 9min33 sec
chest press 3 sets
Ab machine 2 sets
chest flys 3 sets
tricep machine 3 sets

ran on treddy for a total of 27 mins and 3.8 miles~ so it was a good one!

Today’s plan is to work hard this am on some personal training plans and then lift with my legs this afternoon.
It is c-day 17 here and I’ve felt great the past 2 days.

WK#4…POWER Time!!

I am ready to HARNESS the POWER of my hormones this week–HORMONE POWER time!!!  Cycle day 15 is today so this week, I’ll finish off an extended buffing phase and enter into some POWERFUL boosting!!!  I am planning on lifting heavy this go around!! BUT I’d like to squeek out an extra couple days of BUFFING before beginning to Boost…

Last week was STELLAR for me~!! I worked out EVERY DAY!!! (except today, my day off) and I did my 100 lunges every day except yesterday and today :)
Here is the recap:
M-upper body lifting; 100 lunges and a bit of cardio 5 mins on u-bike and jumping abs
T- legs and ran intervals
W-upper body lift and 100 lunges and 11min r-bike intervals
Th-ran hard outside (fasted), 100 lunges (walking)
F-r-bike 18mins;Lift legs; 100 lunges
S-ran 10 mins (sore back); rode r-bike 30 mins
Su- off

My goal this week is to keep up my running- keep increasing my fitness level overall and to enter into boosting with a furry, but keep my eating as healthy as possible.

BUT, I’d love to add in some EXTRA workouts too–some walking/hiking, some biking and some extra intervals???
My Dream today is….I dream of being able to go on several mission trips…my church has an orphanage in Peru that they are building and I’d love to physically go there to help~ it would be so humbling to see and to experience all of God’s power and how HIS spirit comes alive when we whole heartedly go after helping others.  I also feel that mission trips don’t have to be to other far off lands.  One mission that I’d love to help with is the mission to reach women in the Adult Ent. industry.  So many young girls get “caught” in that life without ever trying…I really feel I can help them see that there is a better life out there for them.

Girls…we have only 7 weeks left to getin in shape, lose the weight and be ready finish a SUPER STAR…will you be ready???  I know I need to focus and pull out some POWER from deep within to get my booty 100% ready…LET’s DO it!!!!

sleeping in ROCKS!!!

HI ya!! 
My dream today is to be able to go RVing all around the Rockies/western US with my family!!   We could go all around CO, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Yellow Stone National Park, etc….I think it would be a blast to go all around that area and just SEE all the sights, animals and small towns.  I think I’d like to move somewhere out west, but have no clue where~ Seeing it first would help with that. 

We have had a GREAT past few days….I got to sleep in the past 2 days and it totally rocks!!!  I love being able to relax in the morning and take my time opening my eyes!  
My workout yesterday was 18mins on the r-bike, legs and lunges!!  VERY GOOD….in just a bit  I’m gonna go do some upper body (chest mostly) and  run on the treddy for about 20 mins (since it is and even date today).

Heavenly thoughts~

I’ve been dreaming a bit about heaven today…I can’t wait to feel what heaven is like!!!  A book I recently read “When Heaven Invades Earth” talks about how we should expect and go after the things of heaven here on earth.  For instance we should expect that we should be healthy as we will be in heaven.  In THE LORD’s prayer Jesus even said this “…Your will be done on earth as it is in HEAVEN!”  Isn’t that cool!!!   Heaven on earth is possible!!  What an awesome dream to dream and to go for!!

My workouts the past 2 days have been great!!
I did a really good leg workout with more than 100 lunges in it yesterday followed by my RUN!!  I ran on the treddy rather hard for about 11 mins….
And when I got home my new running shoes showed up!!!  now I can really feel good about running every other day this month!!!

Today, I did a back, shoulder and bicep workout followed by 11 mins of intervals on the r-bike.  It was a BONUS workout for the week as I had planned to take today off!!  I am so happy that I got it done!

I ovulated last night and I feel so much better today …I think it was Carrie who asked about  how we feel on our ovulation, this month for me was extra bad for some reason (since I’ve had twins, I have months when I double ovulate and this makes things doubly icky hormone wise for me on those months) my symptoms were: nausea the night before, bloating, extreme fatigue, zits, horrible ovary pain and some breast tenderness.

Well I gotta go and get some things done while the kids are all occupied.

Natural Dreams!

I love nature!!  Until I was 12 I lived in Colorado and spent many weekends/summers camping, hiking and site seeing with my family.  I really grew to love nature~ however with the having kids and a thriving business, I’ve had less time to be in NATURE…one of my dreams is to see some of the top natural wonders of the world. 
the 7 natural wonders of the world list off as follows:

1-Grand Canyon- this is a no brainer…I have to see it within the next 5 years

2-Great Barrier Reef…Not sure if I have a huge desire to see this, but if it happens, I am sure it will be cool.

3-Harbor of Rio de Janeiro- I am not sure what this even is??  But Rio de Janeiro, sounds like a beach!

4-Mount Everest- this is a must see

5-Northern Lights- I’ve seen these a little bit :)…but I’d love to get further north to see them MORE

6-Paricutin volcano- a real live volcano would be INSANE to see!!

7-Victoria Falls- I would LOVE to see these!!!

at this point in my life just getting out on a walking trail, bike ride or even a run really helps center me and bring me back to nature.  It is so refreshing and beautiful to inhale the natural beauty of God’s creation!!

Yesterday I did my lunges!! and a small yet effective home upper body workout that included:
push ups
pull ups
military press
lateral raises
bowflex flys, presses and tri extensions
bicep curls

I also rode my upright bike for about 5 mins total and did some jumping abs.

My goal for today is to have a good leg workout and get in a run even if it is just for 11 mins on the treddy :)
